Originally built in 1696 by the Duke of Argyll, Old Kilmun House was the home to James Duncan (founder of Benmore Botanic Garden) in the nineteenth century. For its unusual layout and early date, Old Kilmun House is of special interest and as such has been granted Category A listed status by Historic Scotland.

Yoga Retreats and Weddings

Old Kilmun House is the perfect place to host a Yoga or Meditation retreat, a special birthday or an intimate wedding.

Please Note Wedding bookings incur an additional cost of £750 to £1000 (depending on requirements). The house hosts a maximum of 16 + 2 guests staying and 25 guests visiting on the day of the wedding.
